This trivia/fun fact gives a little shout out to our friends out on the west coast!

Did you know that the actual organ that Captain Nemo plays in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea now resides in Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion?

Just like Pinocchio, I cannot tell a lie.

While Captain Nemo played a eerie version of J.S. Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor in the film, the organ now plays an ironically more upbeat song in the Ballroom of the popular Disneyland attraction, entitled Grim Grinning Ghosts. The organ’s pipes are currently arranged differently than they were in the film, but there’s no doubt they are the same ones that were making music back in 1954 from 20,000 leagues down below.
