Cole turned 8 months on August 30th!
He’s sitting up, babbling non-stop, and eating those little puffs and Cheerios like a champ.
*sidenote* Those little puff things that Gerber makes always remind me of little humanized doggie treats; and Cole begs for them just like a puppy would. Jack loves that he can eat them and cheers every time Cole puts one in his own mouth. Jack loves to feed our little human puppy dog.
Cole is belly crawling all over our Crooked Little House. His tummy has not cleared the floor yet, but I am beginning to think it won’t. He will get up on his hands and knees and rock and giggle, but when he wants to get somewhere, he drops to his tummy and slithers like a quick little garden snake. He is so fast! Jack has tried to emulate him, but gets frustrated that he goes slower than Cole, and gets a belly burn, at that.
And did I mention (again!) how good-looking he is? I mean, seriously. Look at that face and tell me it’s not the heartbreaker face of a movie star. That eye-brow? Stop it. It’s his Joey, “How you doin’?” face.
Oh yes, and lets not forget the lime-light snatcher.
Jack just can’t stand it when Cole is getting all the attention of the camera. (And no, that is not a “thumbs up”. That’s a, “You wanted your picture made, so get your thumb out of your mouth and give me a smile!”)
Ohhh, the irony! To be saying, “Get your thumb out of your mouth” when I heard it so often growing up.
With love, Malorie
My great nephews are soooo cute! And I remember well your umm..thumb sucking days. You too were soooo cute!
Love all you posts, I have them going straight to my email. Kisses and Hugs to all. Aunt V.
Aww, thanks, Aunt V.! Maybe I’ll have to post about some of your trip too! It’s just around the river bend! (As Pocahontas would say…)
