It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!

No, we haven’t decorated our Crooked Little House up in red and green just yet, but we have been blaring some Christmas tunes over Pandora, making out Christmas lists, and yesterday we took Jack and Cole to sit in the well-padded lap of Old Saint Nick. We also kept with tradition and took a spin on the Pink Pig.Cole did really well! On the Pink Pig and in Santa’s lap. I think my prayers over his spirit of fear have been answered, praise Him!Jack had a blast. Even after the ride, he wouldn’t put down his Pink Pig ticket. He held it in his little paw for a good twenty to thirty minutes.We also let the boys play in Pottery Barn Kids for a few minutes. I know that is a store for selling, not for playing, but my boys just love their kitchen sets, train tables, and toys! If we wouldn’t have to take out a loan to do so, I may actually consider purchasing some of them.

Cole really enjoyed sitting in this little chair; which is good because we have considered buying him his own for Christmas. Jack has the same one in red and loves it. Today, to continue on in our Christmas spirit, we took the boys to buy things for their Operation Christmas Child box. They semi-enjoyed it. I got carried away. This is not even everything that we bought and it already has trouble closing.Oops! Oh well. Giving to overflowing is a little bit of what Christmas is all about, right? Christ gave all to me, so I should do so for others in return. I really hope the little boy that receives our packed-to-the-brim box truly feels the love of his Savior in every little trinket.
