Sorry, guys, just had to do it.
Admittedly, I am a Star Wars fan. I went through a phase somewhere in middle school. No, I can’t name and identify every droid and aircraft {only some}, but they are truly great films and I can’t wait to share them with the boys when they get a bit older.
And one day, regardless of the fanatic fan-filled crowds, we will go to Star Wars weekend in WDW.

We have been to Star War weekends a few times and it’s a blast. Two on the events that stick out for me was, 1…95 degrees and seeing all the people dressed up and their makeup getting real messed up ;( Number 2 was when “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” was doing Star War questions. I thought I knew lots about the movies but these people were way more into it and most of the questions came from the book series. The first person was a 14 yr old girl in costume and she was great!! She fail out on the question just before winning the cruise. Then a 29 yr old guy got in the seat…he knew everything and didn’t even ask for help on the last question even though he had all of his live lines left. It was the only time we ever saw someone win and the lights flashed, balloons and streamers were everywhere….it was cool. He had driven over from Tampa for the day with 2 friends. His wife and kids did not come because that did not like the Star Wars stuff. I bet she liked it after he called and told her that they were going on a free cruise 🙂
What fun (and funny!) stories! Definitely makes me want to go for a Star Wars weekend now! Thanks for sharing, Bill. I just love hearing all about other people’s Disney memories. 😀
