We’ve officially been home from WDW for a week, and I have only had one day where I wanted to cry.
I think that’s a success, yes?
Part of the reason I haven’t slunk into deep PDD {Post-Disney Depression} is because we are already planning and booking meal reservations for our trip in March. The other part is because I have been working on a video montage of our trip, and being able to look back on all of our fun times and live vicariously through our memories captured via iPhone has somehow curbed the pains of withdrawal. I finished it a couple of days ago, but because I am not very computer program and technology savvy, I had to seek help from Tim in figuring out how to export it. He finally found the time today, and I am so excited to share it with you.
I know it’s amateur, but I am still quite proud, considering this was my first time ever attempting a project such as this. I pretty obsessed with it and plan on making one for each trip now. So get ready for that.
Without further ado and rambling {for which I am infamous}, here is our WDW Trip 2013.
With love, Malorie
Very Cool and fun video!!!!!!!!!! Going to share with my daughter, they are making their first trip to WDW in Feb with their little kiddos.
Aww, yay! I know they will have a blast.
I cried a happy cry when I watched this for the 3rd time…. partly because I miss being at Disney, but mostly because I love making Disney memories with all of my family….. I wish I had a video like this for every time we have been so blessed to go to Walt Disney’s amazing World! I have lost count! I remember Hannah taking some of her first steps in Magic Kingdom over by the Carousel of Progress…. And back in the 1990’s, Malorie screaming down Splash Mountain with her Nanny who is no longer with us ….. Thank you, Malorie, for making this video!!! Can’t wait til next time!
Well done! Looks like you all had a blast!
Thank you! We did!
What great video that is! Years from now, you will enjoy it even more. Every moment was just fun-filled!
Thanks, MeMama!
Oh. My. Goodness! What a wonderful piece of “magic” memories you have created! I loved seeing the boys in action. The rush of Disney excitement was portrayed perfectly. I loved seeing the Sesame Street character cap on Jack’s head; seeing it brings back a lot of memories too.
Oh Jack loves that hat! And he got several compliments on it, too.
Aunt V, now I have some great memories of you too! I’ll never forget sitting in the Polynesian resort on that chilly evening last November, waiting for the fireworks to start so we could go out and watch them from the beach….. You, Hannah, and Ryan were cracking me up. I remember being so tired and exausted, but so happy to be there with you….. I will always wear my matching Christmas Mickey bracelet and think of that very special trip with my big Sis!
I loved that trip too! We were so wonderfully exhausted trying to take in as much of the magic as possible. I hope we can experience the magic together again soon. I too will be wearing my bracelet very soon, the holiday season is right just around the corner!
Dearest Malorie, I have a confession. I read your blog everyday. I have for a while. When you started your coffee countdown, I found myself getting excited as if I were going to Disney (well maybe not that excited, because I was in fact, stuck in GA). While you were there I enjoyed following your adventures via your blog and all the pictures you posted, and now with this video I just have to say that you and your family are absolutely precious. You don’t need me to tell you that, but I just simply adore all your Disney goodies you share. I am planning on going to Disney World with my nieces when they are a little older and I have already told their mom about your blog…and your awesome packing lists! Thanks for sharing all that you do and I love keeping up with Elrods Go Disney!
You’re so sweet.
My boys & I watched your video 3 times yesterday, then I finally had to pry my phone away from their little hands 🙂 we leave for our very first trip to disney next month, and they are so excited to go, so watching your video made them even more antsy!! Also, your older son has the same PJs (buzz lightyear) that my older son does, so he thought that was just the coolest thing ever and reminded me to make sure I pack them in his suitcase for the trip. 🙂 Looks like you guys had a great trip!! May I ask what kind of editing software you used for the videos? I’d love to be able to do something like that with ours when we get back.
Aw, that’s so sweet! Glad your boys are getting excited about their trip. We captured all the footage on our iPhones and I used iMovie to put them together. Be sure to stop by and let me know if you make one and are willing to share it! I’d love to see your fun Disney adventures too. 🙂
I loved this!!! It has me even more excited about taking the kids to WDW next year and has inspired me to make me second attempt at a video collage (my first bombed!). Great Job Mal!! (& Tim)
Um, I love this video. Your talent never ceases to amaze me!!
